"Milstead" is an 'imported name', like 99.9 % of US-names, because the USA are 'a nation of settlers.' "Milstead" comes from a city in England of the same name. [Actor and singer Divine - born 1945, deceased 1988 - was the most prominent bearer of the Milstead-name]
