  1. Leongatha

Leongatha is a town in Gippsland in Victoria. Its name derives from leongatha, which means teeth (Ridley 1975, p. 122), presumably on the basis of euphony in the way that many Aboriginal place names (eg. Yagoona = today, Wahroonga = when) are chosen from wordlists.
