Examples of LADS in a Sentence

  1. Simon Howie Butchers:

You can give your kids a meal that is not full of things you do n’t want to feed them – for a few pounds you can feed three strapping lads, from a kitchen perspective, it is very simple because when it leaves our factory it is already cooked. So when you or a restaurant owner gets it into the kitchen all you have to do is heat it up to be piping hot. It could n’t be more basic : a student with no cooking skills or a Michelin-starred chef do exactly the same thing to put it out on the plate.

  2. Eamonn McCann:

Martin McGuinness was always one of the lads, and at the same time Martin McGuinness stood out as being more articulate than most, more self-confident, obviously the pleasant exterior of Martin McGuinness is not all that there is to him.

  3. Gareth Southgate:

The lads would always be prepared to risk injury for these games, but that can't be to the detriment of the performance level. When it gets to these games, they're not always as honest as they might be about how fit they are. So you've got to have a racehorse trainer's eye at times to really try and sort that out.

  4. Harry Maguire:

Two points dropped I feel. The chances we had, I do n’t think it’s acceptable to come away with a point... I ’m sure the lads will be disappointed, at times we were too slow. Second half we were sloppy and gave the ball away. We created the chances and failed to score again and it cost us two points.

  5. Mick Fleetwood:

All of us... anyone that's been in Fleetwood Mac, as far as I've been aware, has been seemingly pretty well brought up by their parents: not goody two-shoes - God knows we weren't - but there was a level of civility that the lads in the band were aware of, what is over the brink of decency.
