Wikipedia

  1. guessed

A guess (or an act of guessing) is a swift conclusion drawn from data directly at hand, and held as probable or tentative, while the person making the guess (the guesser) admittedly lacks material for a greater degree of certainty. A guess is also an unstable answer, as it is "always putative, fallible, open to further revision and interpretation, and validated against the horizon of possible meanings by showing that one interpretation is more probable than another in light of what we already know". In many of its uses, "the meaning of guessing is assumed as implicitly understood", and the term is therefore often used without being meticulously defined. Guessing may combine elements of deduction, induction, abduction, and the purely random selection of one choice from a set of given options. Guessing may also involve the intuition of the guesser, who may have a "gut feeling" about which answer is correct without necessarily being able to articulate a reason for having this feeling.

But if you'd said,' Okay, Jeff Bezos's stepping down, who will Jeff Bezos choose ?' the first, instant name out of my mouth would be Andy Jassy, i watched Andy Jassy blossom into this beautiful complimentary executive to Jeff Bezos, where Andy Jassy learned to anticipate the questions Jeff Bezos would ask, the things Jeff Bezos would hate, the things Jeff Bezos would love, Jeff Bezos leadership style.

  3. David Blewett:

MESSENGER has been a fantastic mission that has given humans our first global look at one of Earth's closest relatives, mercury turned out to be stranger than anyone would have guessed. Any time something like this happens it's going to make you second guess the actions that you take, and the problem with that is when you're second guessing what you're supposed to be doing, people could evade apprehension, you could end up getting yourself hurt, you could end up getting innocent third parties hurt -- because you don't take the actions that are necessary because you're worried you're going to be second guessed by the president of the United States, we’re not talking about being second guessed by someone with a camera, we’re talking about being second guessed by the president of the United States and that's the political situation we’re currently under, and any time that happens of course we’re going to be very, very leery about the actions we take.
