Wikipedia
discussed
Debate is a process that involves formal discourse on a particular topic, often including a moderator and audience. In a debate, arguments are put forward for often opposing viewpoints. Debates have historically occurred in public meetings, academic institutions, debate halls, coffeehouses, competitions, and legislative assemblies. Debate has also been conducted for educational and recreational purposes, usually associated with educational establishments and debating societies. These debates put an emphasis upon logical consistency, factual accuracy, and emotional appeal to an audience. Modern forms of competitive debate also include rules for participants to discuss and decide upon the framework of the debate (how the debate will be judged).

The energy may be acoustic, pressure waves, you've probably heard of LRAD devices (or long-range acoustic devices) -- devices they've discussed in the press -- so ultrasound is one mode that could be used for this. We also could have radiofrequency. We could have microwave. We could have light -- lasers are an example of it. I'm going through these just as examples, i want to make it eminently clear that we don't know what they were exposed to and certainly can't make any inferences as to whether it was deliberate or inadvertent.
This is something that has to be discussed. And, as you know, there are tremendous numbers of people -- whether it's 47 % or close to 50 % -- that don't pay taxes and that don't pay income taxes, and probably lots of other taxes.
Pardons have not been discussed and pardons are not on the table.
I recall our first vote a year ago or more on the first Pfizer authorization, i was one of the 17 votes in favor. I remember those early discussions -- even then, should the 16 - and 17-year-olds be included ? At that point, that was a controversial topic that was being discussed. And here we are now, as a committee unanimously recommending authorization down to 6 months of age. So we've come a long way.
