  1. Bulls

The Bulls, for sponsorship reasons known as the Vodacom Bulls, are a South African rugby union team competing in the Super Rugby competition. They are based in Pretoria and play their home matches at Loftus Versfeld. Prior to 1998, the Bulls competed in the then-Super 12 as Northern Transvaal, as in those years South Africa was represented in the competition by its top four Currie Cup sides from the previous season, instead of the modern Super Rugby teams. The side won the Super 14 in 2007, 2009 and 2010, placing them among the most successful teams in the Super Rugby history with three titles. They were the most successful team of the Super 14 era, winning three out of the five titles. The current team captain is Pierre Spies, with Dewald Potgieter as stand-in captain on 29 June 2013. The coach is Frans Ludeke.
