  1. bola

A bola is a weapon traditionally used by certain indigenous tribes, originally from South America but also by other cultures around the world. It consists of two or three balls, often made of stone or metal, attached to long cords. It is thrown to entangle the legs of animals or opponents, causing them to trip or become immobilized.

Wikidata

  1. Bola

The Bola volcano, also known as Wangore, is an andesitic stratovolcano, located southwest of the Dakataua caldera. It is 1,115 metres tall and has a 400 metre wide summit crater. The most recent lava flow was erupted from the summit crater and flowed to the west. This viscous flow is at least 50 m thick, thus leaving an irregularity in the profile of the volcano. The unforested summit crater and weak fumarolic activity suggests that the most recent eruption may have been only a few hundred years ago.
