"Anything" is a song by American singer JoJo from her second studio album, The High Road. Written by Beau Dozier, Mischke Butler, and Justin Trugman and released as the album's third and final single in May 2007, the track contains a sample from Toto's 1982 song "Africa"—a former number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100—written by David Paich and Jeff Porcaro. The song premiered on March 19, 2006 on The Second JammX Kids All Star Dance Special. The single was the second official single from The High Road in European countries and was released in the United Kingdom on May 7, 2007; it began gaining airplay there on March 24, 2007, eventually debuting on BBC Radio 1's playlist under the B-list section. JoJo was in the UK during the first two weeks of May to promote the single; she performed at London's G-A-Y on May 12, and appeared on GMTV on May 8 as part of a series of radio and television interviews. "Anything" remained in the top forty of the UK Singles Chart for three weeks.

We were raised not to say anything bad about the Catholic religion, but at the same time, we can't stay quiet about this. It's like the altar boy scandal. All the people who stayed quiet about the altar boy scandal, how do they feel now? it seems like the church is doing all it can to separate Serra from the atrocities and deaths and what happened to the Indians, but that does not work.
Freedom of speech is useless without freedom of thought. And I fear that the politics of protest is shutting out the process of thought, so necessary to rational discussion. We are faced with the Ten Commandments of Protest:Thou Shalt Not Allow Thy Opponent to Speak. Thou Shalt Not Set Forth a Program of Thine Own. Thou Shalt Not Trust Anybody Over Thirty. Thou Shalt Not Honor Thy Father or Thy Mother. Thou Shalt Not Heed the Lessons of History. Thou Shalt Not Write Anything Longer than a Slogan. Thou Shalt Not Present a Negotiable Demand. Thou Shalt Not Accept Any Establishment Idea. Thou Shalt Not Revere Any but Totalitarian Heroes. Thou Shalt Not Ask Forgiveness for Thy Transgressions, Rather Thou Shalt Demand Amnesty for Them.
Did I know anything about the industry really? Not until I started working on it, not until I had to go and bartend, and valet park cars and work construction while I auditioned for films. Then you know what hard work is to get into a film and try to be an actor.
