It was nice that I had this unbelievable pairing, two great guys, two great friends, it was a great round. The ebb and flow of needling each other, encouraging each other and telling stories. Because I hadn’t been out here so I’ve missed some of the things that have transpired on Tour, which is kind of fun.

Today was a huge step toward justice. We are grateful for the diligence and dedication of the FBI and the DOJ as they investigated what led to Breonna's murder and what transpired afterwards. The justice that Breonna received today would not have been possible without the efforts of Attorney General Merrick Garland or Assistant AG for Civil Rights Kristen Clarke, we hope this announcement of a guilty plea sends a message to all other involved officers that it is time to stop covering up and time to accept responsibility for their roles in causing the death of an innocent, beautiful young Black woman.

What I can say about what transpired in this building today is that there was demonstration that our processes, our legal processes still work. The judicial system still works. No one is above the law. Donald John Trump sat in a chair, put Donald John Trump right hand up and Donald John Trump took an oath, Donald John Trump took an oath to tell the truth. And nothing but the truth. And Donald John Trump answered questions for several hours with Donald John Trump counsel present and that is part of what we call due process in this country, and maybe some of us forget that that applies to everyone, in the course of the last several years but I think today serves as a demonstration that our institutions are intact and the rule of law is supreme above all else in this country.

I think we heard from our generals about what transpired … The person we need to hear from is the president of the United States, i mean, this even caused more questions I think for President Biden, which are: ‘You said none of your military said anything to you about keeping forces on the ground, about keeping Bagram Air Base … you said you couldn’t recall it’ -- Well, clearly your generals said they did tell you.

Yeah, thank you. Thank you very much. Well, I think, like everybody, I'm surprised that this has transpired so quickly. But I think what we are all seeing at this point is kind of a lack of confidence in, you know, in the Afghan forces themselves and their leadership, their government and apparently in their partners here. And I think this drove the Afghan security forces to an approach of self-preservation. And so they were acting more individually than they were acting collectively at this particular point. And, of course, it collapsed quite quickly.

What transpired yesterday was tragic and sickening. While I have consistently condemned political violence on both sides of the aisle, specifically violence directed at law enforcement, we now see some supporters of the President using violence as a means to achieve political ends, this is unacceptable.

This expression was created and expanded over numerous years. And possibly it will continue to be expanded. You will notice that the Internet has altered how the expression is written. I Wrote the first two lines in 1974. There are two experiences that you can never get back. First, words after they had been uttered. And second, a stone after it has been thrown. 1974 I added a third experience in 1980 after personal dramatic circumstances in my life. As a result, the expression was changed as written below. There are three experiences that you can never get back. One, words after they have been spoken. Two, a stone after it has been thrown. Three, a moment or after it has passed In January 1984, my father died, and I added a fourth item. which was stated in a different manner to my brother. Later that same year, I added a fifth experience, related to my brother who had cancer. Remember to spend time with those you love. There are five experiences that you can never get back. One, words after they have been spoken. Two, a stone after it has been thrown. Three, a moment or occasion after it has passed. Four, a person after they have passed. Five, time once it has passed. The final two experiences were added twelve years later in 1996. They are rarely included in the various depictions I have seen on the Internet. The only logic I can conclude for their lack of inclusion, is that I stopped posting to inspirational and poetic websites for several years.. Thus, the final or I should say current construction is noted below. There are seven things you can never get back. 1. Words after they have been spoken. 2. A stone after it has been thrown. 3. A moment or occasion after it has passed. 4. A person after they have passed. 5. Time once it has passed. 6. Betrayal after it has transpired. 7. A lie after it has been spoken. RJ Intindola ―
