Hes looking at the same documents that I am, hes not sharing his findings or the work that hes doing. But Im coordinating with him to make sure that he has the intelligence documents that he needs to do his work. And what I dont want to do is declassify something that might prejudice his work. I do, I have plansto declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release, i have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didnt want me to do it early on. ... A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. Im glad I didnt do it.We got a great result without having to do it, but we will. I don't expect they will (declassify) because I think this is just more obstruction, if he has evidence that she committed a crime, he actually can show us what his evidence is. It's one thing if the President has a detailed and thoughtful conversation with the intelligence community about what to declassify, what to release to the public, but if, on the other hand, this was simply the President looking for an opportunity to attack his predecessor, and giving little thought to the consequences of what he might be disclosing, that is a big problem.

I think the quicker this type of information comes out, the better it is, if the President has information and he could declassify that without endangering national security, I would encourage him to do that.
