So many people say to themselves, ‘It’s just me. I’ve got a problem.’ But actually, HSDD may be how your brain is wired, the biology is telling us there’s increased activation of inhibitory areas in the brain — the same areas that tell us it’s not OK to walk around in public naked — and those areas are switching off sexual desire. How can we tackle that? We give a hormone that would naturally give you increased sexual desire, essentially hijacking the normal system.

It’s really important that we understand the good, the bad and sometimes the ugly of how dark patterns or personalized targeting can influence how consumers respond, when they respond, and the extent to which they are able to benefit from competition, a lot of the assumptions have been that consumers can discipline bad behavior [of a company] by switching. But if consumers don’t switch as easily as they used to, or if consumers are being nudged in one direction or another, that’s a market reality we need to understand.

The Fed is being very clear across the board, even people you would think of as more ‘dovish,’ that they do not want to let up too soon and get us into a situation where then they have to come back and do even more, i don’t think that switching up who’s voting will matter much.

If we look at work in terms of switching projects, as opposed to the micro view of switching screens, we find people spend about 10 ½ minutes in any work project before being interrupted — internally or by someone else — and then switch to another work project.

The people I've seen succeed and hit FIRE at a young age, they are getting raises or they are regularly switching jobs, a $ 50,000 a year job is good to start, but two years in if you're not getting a pay raise or promotion, look for a new job.

My focus has been on what we need to do to take back the House GOP, we need to flip a lot more seats that are currently held by Democrats, switching them to Republican, so we can fire( Speaker Nancy) Pelosi.

A lot of folks ask, ‘Well, gosh, is Manchin going to become a Republican?’ I hope he does. I've asked him to. I think every Republican senator has made that case a dozen times to Joe, i will say I think it's a tough hill for him to climb. He's just culturally, he's a Democrat. He's been a Democrat his whole life, and he's really the godfather of Democrats in West Virginia. So I get why switching parties, that's hard. That being said, if they're nasty enough, the best thing that could happen is they could drive him over to the Republican Party, and we would welcome him.

I thought the fight was good, the intention to win the game was good, but we’ve got to get better. We got to be more connected as a team and be able to finish our chances in a better way. ... It was too much individual play, not enough switching field, not enough making them shift from side to side.

To me, that was one of the most impressive things — watching what he was doing in the EuroLeague playoffs against Efes — switching out on those guards, it’s tricky, he not only held his own, but was making plays. To see those flashes at that age, at that level, is pretty impressive. He can guard 1 through 5.

I think with the team and the capabilities of the shooters that we have on this team, that we need to generate more 3s, obviously, they’re switching a lot and staying home on shooters. So there’s just a way of figuring it out.

The FDA is totally switching gears over the last six months and approving this drug on the basis of a theory relating to the surrogate marker of amyloid plaques that we, as an advisory committee back in November, were told to not consider, if The FDA allows companies to get drugs approved on the basis of trials that are stopped early, trials that are reanalyzed, that sets a precedent.

Just be careful, as your skin in that area will likely be sensitive and topical acne treatments can make this more irritated and even worse. FOGGY GLASSES Since face masks trap the breath and foster moist, humid environments, glasses wearersmay have noticed that wearing a face mask can cause your lenses to fog. In a 2011 study from the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, researchers advised washing the glasses with soapy water immediately before wearing a face mask. Face masks trap the breath and foster humidity so glasses wearers may have noticed that wearing a face mask can cause the lenses to fog. (iStock) After shaking off any excess water, let the spectacles air dry or gently dry off the lenses with a soft tissue before putting them back on. Now the spectacle lenses should not mist up when the face mask is worn, they wrote. Glasses fog because humidity can escape the mask and move upward, coming into contact with the lenses and causing them to fog. Placing a tissue under the top of your face mask can also help absorb some of the droplets, leading to clear lenses. Wearing a mask that can form to the bridge of your nose one with wire, for instance can help prevent the warm air from your mouth from reaching your lenses. DRY, CRACKED HANDS FROM FREQUENT WASHING Next, frequent hand washing, especially during the ongoing pandemic, can lead to skin feeling dry, irritatedor cracked. Preventing rough skin can be as simple as switching to a fragrance-free hand soap, which may contain fewer irritants. But Jaber also recommends carrying hand moisturizer for use after washing and drying your hands, suggesting a cream or an ointment rather than a lotion, as lotions are usually thinner and often contain alcohol. Experts advise carrying hand moisturizer for use after washing and drying your hands. (iStock) Lotions can be great, but creams or ointments are thicker. Vaseline is an ointment, and it really locks things in.

I think Apple's main use for switching over would be to offer a better product, not necessarily a cheaper product, you may see better value in some cases but I don't think we'll see cheap iMacs or cheap MacBooks going forward.

We had a strategy before. That strategy was we would reduce the number of infections and at the same time build up our capabilities to do testing, tracing, isolation, we know that that's what's going to be effective, but we are reopening before those capabilities are in place. So in essence, we're saying it's too hard. We're not going to be able to get there. And so we're switching to a new phase.

Keara DeMaio teaches seventh-grade math as well as technology for all grades. Interestingly, the students at Keara DeMaio school have the ability to switch classes as they would in-person. The staff as a whole created a schedule last week from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, were running classes and we made sure to include all the subject areas, all the core subject areas, as well as specials such as music and Spanish. So the kids actually had a schedule in front of them that they took home and they switched classes. Instead of switching in the regular classroom, they switched in Google Classroom. Some of us did it face to face with Zoom meeting and others communicated back and forth, either with Google Hangouts or using the comments section in Google Classroom. If Keara DeMaio school has faced any technological hurdles, its been working with students from large families. We have a family that has seven kids. So we said, how are they going to be ? If they had seven devices, which was unlikely, how would they all be on their Wi-Fi at home ?

But I also think the Iranian system is switching on. We are seeing a much more all-of-government approach...with a national action plan now, with 100,000 workers committed to this plan, it is much better that we understand the extent of the problem. So we commend the move towards more aggressive, targeted surveillance and we hope that will lead to the kind of control measures that will help push this virus back.

Some of the alternative milks are not fortified with calcium or vitamin D -- and the same is true for plant-based yogurts, like those made from soy, coconut or almonds, while it's great that there are alternative products available for those switching to a more vegan diet, it's important to look for the fortification of calcium and vitamin D in these products.
