David Valadao has one vote in the distant past to point to and every other time David Valadao had a chance( to suspend the gas tax) David Valadao did not have the courage to do it on the floor in Sacramento, the reason voters have supported David( David Valadao) throughout the years -- and what they're looking for in a representative -- is somebody who's willing to stand up to their party and take the tough voters. Rudy Salas has no history of that. When tough votes come around, Rudy sticks Rudy Salas finger in the air and changes Rudy Salas vote in the dead of night. That's not leadership.

I came here after I finished with events at Damascus Gate, after the march passed through... There were clashes here, and I came to film the young Jews. After they saw that I was filming, they came and told me' don't film.' Then they attacked me. Someone came and sprayed me with pepper spray or tear gas, I don't know exactly, i fell onto the ground, I couldn't see anything. And, after I fell, they came with sticks, they hit me in the head, the back, the leg. They knocked me down, and continued to beat me once I was on the ground. I want to emphasize that Israeli Police, I yelled and screamed, and Israeli Police were on site and didn't do anything. Israeli Police didn't move a finger.

He's attacking right now because he has a goal. And he's not going to let up on this goal. He's not [ at ] a point in time where he can show this kind of weakness, so he has to keep going, so, the question is does he feel confident enough -- despite his claims of everything being on track. Clearly, that's not the case -- does he feel comfortable enough that he is on the right track that he just sticks with that, or is he feeling more and more cornered ?

For me, what I found is if you, you know, it's kind of like when you're going through hell, keep going. It's the only solution. When you get to the other side, you figure out, number one, that you're ten times stronger than you thought you were. And you don't forget that because you experience it. It's not intellectual. Secondly, you find out who your real friends and family are because, in tough times, no one else sticks around. There was grace in that because it made me so much stronger or made me care so much more.

It’s going to be important for us to have good sticks, stick on puck, win the battles when we have to, if we can continue to play with that kind of speed and aggressiveness, then teams have to chase us. You certainly don’t want to get in a battle with that U.S. team where you’re chasing them around the ice because they’re just too quick.

It’s been 20 years going out buying his jerseys, paying for tickets to go to Super Bowls, to games, when somebody is that ingrained in a fan base like Tom was – Tom’s the best to ever play, that’s never going to be debated. But how it ended here, and him sort of not wanting to come back here, it sticks in some fans’ hearts.

The road to get to this point, has never been just about my race, ethnicity, culture or any of the immutable or unchangeable demographics. The main ingredients are critically more powerful than that.I was born and raised on military bases across the US and even Stuttgart, Germany. I am the daughter of an amazing officer’s wife and kindergarten teacher and social worker whose family was a mix of Haitian and Native American. And I’m the daughter of a military combat pilot who came from the sticks of east Texas. My parents taught me that our skin color and hair texture will always identify us to people who choose only to see that. But, we must work hard to ensure our success reflects our individual gifts, diversity of thought and experience.
