    Of a position or view unable to be maintained or defended against attack or objection, especially regarding matters of ethical considerations relative to positions of trust.

    The innocent citizen stood before the corrupt officer, district attorney, and judge and told each of them, "Your position is unstandable and will be illuminated by the truth before sunset on the last day you hold your offices."

    Etymology: Un: Un is a prefix meaning not. It's used to give opposite and negative meanings to adjectives, adverbs, and nouns. Stand: To have or maintain an upright position, supported by one's feet (by one's truth, by one's position, etc.) Able: -able. a suffix meaning “capable of, susceptible of, fit for, tending to, given to,” associated in meaning with the word able, occurring in loanwords from Latin (laudable); used in English as a highly productive suffix to form adjectives by addition to stems of any origin (teachable; photographable). Also -ble, -ible.
