Siddiqui (Urdu: صدیقی, Ṣiddīqī) are Asian Muslim Sheikh community found mainly in India and Pakistan Saudi Arabia United arab emirates and the Middle East region. They claim to be the descendants of Abu Bakr, the first Sunni Caliph, who was a companion of and the father-in-law of Muhammad. in Indian subcontinent The Siddiquis can be classified as Urdu speaking Nawabs & Pathan communities, located mostly in the North /West and Central parts of India. Egypt spells "Seddik" in Turkey its spelled as Çiçek or Cicek. In Middle east region its spelled as "Seddiqi" Ahmed Seddiqi and Sons a well known business family of UAE belongs to the Siddiqui community. The title "As-Siddiq" (Arabic: الصديق) was given to the first Abu Bakr. His title, "Siddiqui", is an attributive form of the Arabic As-Siddiq.
