Examples of reelected in a Sentence
I did call President Obama into my office and told President Obama President Obama should take a look at it. And President Obama was stunned because I was the first one that ever suggested that to President Obama, when President Obama was reelected,( that was) one of the most moving phone calls I've ever received because President Obama said, you know,' You're the reason I'm here,'.
I would assume, as a politician myself, that Donald Trump is thinking about the next election and he's looking at American society. And if you see how much support there is in American society to act upon climate change, he's probably doing the math and thinking that if I want to be reelected, I have to take this seriously, that gives me hope because the people want this. Corporations in the U.S. are on the same page as we are. States are. Cities are.
I have never said that a president can do anything if he believes that his election is in the public interest to get reelected, thats simply false. I started my speech in the Senate by saying I completely support the impeachment of [Richard] Nixon, who everything he did, he did because he wanted to get reelected. And clearly he thought his reelection was in the public interest.
I can't think of a way that would make it easier for Donald Trump , wow to get reelected than listening to this conversation. It's ridiculous. Bernie Sanders're not going throw out capitalism. Bernie Sanders tried that. Other countries tried that. It was called communism. It just didn't work.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid:
The decision I made has absolutely nothing to do with my injury, and it has nothing to do with my being majority leader, and it certainly has nothing to do with my ability to be reelected, because the path to reelection is much easier than it probably has been any time that I've run for reelection.
