  2. John Hick:

We can't get any help. And that's honestly the bottom line of the biggest problems here is that we just don't have the staffing, and the personnel resources in particular, and that's really led to an awful lot of burnout... but just the continuing emotional grind, in addition to the physical fatigue of caring for these patients and adapting to the challenges of working in PPE, and being the only connection sometimes between patient and family, has been terribly difficult.

  3. Frank Chung:

One of my biggest concerns was : How do I make sure that I am not a burden ? How do I make sure I'm not just taking up extra PPE unnecessarily ? i was also worried about the potential effects of getting Covid because many of us have seen people who are young and otherwise fairly healthy who have gotten very sick. So I think we all thought that there is a very real risk opting into this.

If you ask me, UVC technology is out there and no one is talking about it as PPE. Used to disinfect cellphones. It is a business. In China, used to disinfect buses. Any scientist out there knows ABC levels of UV use. Can't we do more with UV besides selling devices?
