Pocket Change is an online newsletter covering expensive and luxury goods in New York City and Los Angeles. Founded by Jeremy Abelson, Pocket Change has recently been in the media for covering a $175 hamburger. Fictitious editor in-chief Richard Nouveau makes a mockery of the rich upper class with statements such as, “I lifted my dating embargo on Orientals.” Pocket Change has been responsible for a number of dating events in New York City, pairing "Rich Guys" and "Hot Girls." Pocket Change organized "Fashion Meets Finance," a dating event based on pairing wealthy men and beautiful women.
