Examples of nielsen in a Sentence

  1. Elizabeth Warren:

Secretary Nielsen should end these practices immediately and put in place much-needed accountability and oversight measures to ensure that this never happens again.

  2. Homeland Security Committee:

Hampered by misstep after misstep, Kirstjen Nielsen's tenure at the Department of Homeland Security was a disaster from the start. It is clearer now than ever that the Trump Administration's border security and immigration policies - that she enacted and helped craft - have been an abysmal failure and have helped create the humanitarian crisis at the border.

  3. Sarah Sanders:

Waters yelled at a cadre of reporters outside the Speaker’s Lobby who were asking her about her comments. She also refused to answer questions about whether her remarks are bad for her party. Waters has faced bipartisan criticism for her weekend comments to a crowd of supporters in Los Angeles. After White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen were pressured to leave restaurants last week amid the backlash over family separations at the border, Waters had urged the crowd to keep up the pressure. If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere.

  4. Allison Hrabar:

If you see these people in public, you should remind them that they shouldn’t have peace, we aren’t the only ones who can do this. Anyone who sees Kirstjen Nielsen at dinner, anyone who sees anyone who works at DHS and ICE at dinner can confront them like this, and that’s what we hope this will inspire people to do.

  5. Dee Margo:

I appreciate Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen taking the time to meet with me to discuss the El Paso region, and our immigration needs on the border. Our federal officials should visit the border when making decisions about our immigration system, and Secretary Nielsen's visit is most welcome.
