Upon investigation it was brought to his attention that a well known Fortune Teller Marie Boss, Was bragging that she had come into a small fortune making and selling Poisons. Apon her detention she confessed to making deadly concoctions containing Nightshade and Arsnic. She claimed that she was only one of many in a circle of Black Magic Practioners and Alchemists who caterd to a thriving market for poisons. Boss further confessed that her Clientelle was non other than the Pariesian arestocracy itself. Certin members of the Upper Class were in the habit of purchaseing So Called Inheritance Powders, Deadly poison that they used to kill off their relitives to aquire their fortunes. In 1679 dozens of high profile Aristocrates were Imprisoned and King Louis condemned over 30 offenders including Boss to death. After the sentances were carried out the once targeted upper class could return to a sense of normalscy.
