Wikipedia
guessed
A guess (or an act of guessing) is a swift conclusion drawn from data directly at hand, and held as probable or tentative, while the person making the guess (the guesser) admittedly lacks material for a greater degree of certainty. A guess is also an unstable answer, as it is "always putative, fallible, open to further revision and interpretation, and validated against the horizon of possible meanings by showing that one interpretation is more probable than another in light of what we already know". In many of its uses, "the meaning of guessing is assumed as implicitly understood", and the term is therefore often used without being meticulously defined. Guessing may combine elements of deduction, induction, abduction, and the purely random selection of one choice from a set of given options. Guessing may also involve the intuition of the guesser, who may have a "gut feeling" about which answer is correct without necessarily being able to articulate a reason for having this feeling.

Examples of guessed in a Sentence
Any time something like this happens it's going to make you second guess the actions that you take, and the problem with that is when you're second guessing what you're supposed to be doing, people could evade apprehension, you could end up getting yourself hurt, you could end up getting innocent third parties hurt -- because you don't take the actions that are necessary because you're worried you're going to be second guessed by the president of the United States, we’re not talking about being second guessed by someone with a camera, we’re talking about being second guessed by the president of the United States and that's the political situation we’re currently under, and any time that happens of course we’re going to be very, very leery about the actions we take.
They store huge amounts of carbon, are essential for the cycling of nutrients, for water and air quality, and for countless human services, yet you ask people to estimate, within an order of magnitude, how many trees there are and they don't know where to begin. I don't know what I would have guessed, but I was certainly surprised to find that we were talking about trillions.

MESSENGER has been a fantastic mission that has given humans our first global look at one of Earth's closest relatives, mercury turned out to be stranger than anyone would have guessed. It looks roughly like the moon, but MESSENGER has shown that Mercury is vastly different from the moon in just about every way.
There were about eight or so people, and there was a man in the middle on a horse, but he wasn’t holding his own reins — there was someone on the horse in front holding the reins — and Charlie, I guessed, was this comatose, bearded, long-haired guy with big eyes riding as if he’s just stuck to the back of a horse. Totally zoned out. You couldn’t take your eyes off him, my cousin turned back to me and said, ‘Wow, that guy’s weird.’ When we passed him and their whole group, she turned around again and said, ‘That must be Charlie,’ and I said, ‘Yeah … and Charlie’s freaky!’ We didn’t think anything of it.
