Forum for International Trade Training
The Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) is "a not-for-profit organization that offers international business training, resources and professional certification to individuals and businesses."FITT offers the FITTskills international trade training program, a series of 6 courses for global business professionals that can be taken either online or in a classroom setting through educational partners. FITTskills students receive the FITT Certificate in International Trade after completing three of the courses, and the FITT Diploma in International Trade after completing all six courses.The organization also offers the Certified International Trade Professional designation, also trademarked as the FITT International Business Professional designation in the U.S. and Europe. It is often referred to as the CITP|FIBP designation. In French, it is referred to as the Professionnel accrédité en commerce international (PACI|FPAI) designation. FITT's strategic partners are Export Development Canada (EDC), Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and the World Trade Centers Association.

Forum for International Trade Training
FITT is a non-profit organization established in 1992 by industry and the Government of Canada as part of Canada's sector council initiative. FITT develops international business programs, sets competency standards, designs the certification and accreditation programs for the Certified International Trade Professional designation, and generally ensures continuing professional development in the practice of international trade. FITT’s programs and services are mandated to: ⁕address human resource issues by, providing employers with resources to build their international business capacity; ⁕assisting individuals in developing their international business skills and knowledge; and ⁕providing international business training support for educators and students. FITT’s designation, the CITP—known as the FIBP in the U.S. and E.U.—is the highest level of professional accreditation available to international business and trade professionals in Canada. The competencies of the CITP/FIBP are developed through eight courses called FITTskills. Completion of the FITTskills courses award students a FITT Certificate in International Trade for the completion of four courses, and a FITT Diploma in International Trade for the completion of all eight. There are currently more than 60 Canadian universities and colleges who have or are offering the courses or accredited equivalencies.
