    Casella is a comune in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 14 km northeast of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,131 and an area of 7.8 km². The municipality of Casella contains the frazioni Avosso, Carpeneta, Cortino, Parata, Regiosi, Salvega, and Stabbio. Casella borders the following municipalities: Montoggio, Savignone, Serra Riccò, Valbrevenna.
