Brooklyn Center is a first-ring suburban city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area. In 1911, the area became a village formed from parts of Brooklyn Township and Crystal Lake Township. In 1966, Brooklyn Center became a charter city. The city has commercial and industrial development. The majority of land use is single-family homes. The population was 33,782 at the 2020 census, and the city has become the most ethnically diverse community in the state.

Brooklyn Center is a city in the State of Minnesota. The city lies on the west bank of the Mississippi River on the northwest border of Minneapolis in Hennepin County. Brooklyn Center is one of the oldest inner-ring suburbs of Minneapolis-Saint Paul, the sixteenth largest metropolitan area in the United States, with about 3.2 million residents. The U.S. Census Bureau the city's population at 30,104 in 2010 census. Formed as the center of local trade in Brooklyn Township since 1873, the rural area farmed market gardening for the nearby growing population of Minneapolis. The village incorporated in 1911, splitting from Brooklyn Township, to avoid annexation from the expanding city of Minneapolis. The city became a bedroom community and industrial job center following postwar growth. It was the site of the regional mall Brookdale Center. The headquarters of Caribou Coffee moved into the city in 2004.

The document listed four goals of the new traffic enforcement division : Maximizing the traffic safety benefits of traffic enforcement, eliminating racial disparities in traffic enforcement, educating the public on safe driving behaviors and traffic laws, and earning the trust of communities harmed by earlier practices. We urgently need traffic safety in our community, we also need for increasing traffic safety to not come at a great cost of harm to our neighbors in the process. This issue is very complex, but it is surmountable.
