    Binka was an animated children's television series about the adventures of a fat tomcat named Binka, who frequently travels to three houses for three meals a day. The show aired from 2001-2005 (4 years, including repeats), running for twenty six five minute long episodes on weekday mornings. Binka had hit the headlines when it was flagged by The Daily Mail, for its socialist undertones.

    Binka is a village located in Donga Mantung Division the north west region of Cameroon. Binka is in it native language "limbum" Bi means people while Nka means bulket. The name Binka cames after a famous bulket expert name "Nka" which was the leading brand of the village. So Binka can directly be translated in English as the people of bulket.

    "Bi" is people and "Nka" is bulket
