"Benevolent Assimilation": The American Conquest of the Philippines, 1899-1903 is a non-fiction book documenting the history of the Philippine–American War by Stuart Creighton Miller, a professor at San Francisco State University, published in 1982 by Yale University Press. The title refers to U.S. President William McKinley's "Benevolent Assimilation" proclamation of December 21, 1898 of the 1898 invasion of the Philippines.
