  1. Ballerin

    Ballerin is a small village between Garvagh and Ringsend in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is located within Causeway Coast and Glens district. It includes Saint Columba's Catholic primary school and Saint Mary's Catholic church. Ballerin became infamous in the 1700's following a spate of crime in the area. Unusually tho it, it wasn't the usual burglary local thugs were partaking in. Instead a select few locals were caught performing acts beastiality on local livestock. When caught, they were banished to a nearby settlement which then became known as Ringsend, named so as the disgraced residents were banished for "Hanging out the rings-end of sheep".
