Examples of NAS in a Sentence
I would not have this sign without Lil Nas and Kio, on my way home from the gig. Wanted to say thank you @LilNasX and @YoungKio_.
There's still that general sentiment that this type of rapper, a gay, male rapper, isn't representative of masculinity, what Lil Nas X is doing by upping the ante is no different than what we see a stereotypical, heterosexual rapper do by upping the ante in Lil Nas X lyrics.
The issue with being the first is often that the first also becomes the last for a really long time, black queerness has only very recently become really legible as something other than a punchline. There's a lot of work, of undoing that needs to get done. And Lil Nas X might be part of that undoing.
Did you know that every 15 minutes a baby is born with NAS ? Maybe you'd like to talk about the 160,000 kids who skip school every day for fear of being bullied, or that 280,000 students are physically attacked in schools every month, seems kind of silly to worry about what channel Melania Trump watches on TV( any channel Melania Trump wants btw) or if Melania Trump heard some recording on the news.
I feel like Lil Nas X's really important for representation in general, and this is gon na open more doors for one day when somebody says this, it's like,' Oh, that person said that and I didn't think about it,'.
