The C.D.C. has been clear that everyone can unmask outside unless they’re in close contact with each other, and I believe that schools should be doing this for recess. And I believe we need to give parents and teachers a road map to what it takes to start undoing the mitigations. It was clear that vaccines for teachers helped us reopen schools. Most kids will not be vaccinated or fully vaccinated before the end of this year and we're going to work on updating our school guidance, so much evolved just in This Week, both with our guidance -- with unmask if you're vaccinated -- as well as the eligibility of vaccination for 12 to 15 year olds. What I'm assuming is, is that this was picked up as they were tracking someone else, and if that's the case, that would have had to go up to the highest levels of the Obama administration to get approval to unmask who [the non-targeted party was], and in this case, it was General Flynn.

A number of states dealt with this issue before, but Washington hadn’t done it yet, what we see in this case is Washington joining states like California and New Jersey in that someone who wants to unmask an anonymous commenter has to provide the supporting evidence that they have a valid claim.
