You can never guarantee 100 % transparency. It's not just about any intentional cover-up, you are also constrained with by technology and other issues with a novel virus. About Patriotism: Just because you vote, just because you have a flag on your truck, car, go kart, whatever, just because you posses political paraphernalia, just because you go to political rallies, just because you donate to charities, just because you are politically active doesn't mean your patriotic, it doesn't mean your a good person, it doesn't mean your a good citizen. Ten years ago, if you wanted to be politically relevant and if you wanted your vote to have an impact, you were foolish to be registered as a Democrat because they failed to field a candidate for some offices and even then it was just volunteering to get killed in the general by the Republican, that certainly is no longer the case now. Socialism is possible only in a state that is united domestically and free internationally. The bourgeoisie (capitalists) and Marxism are responsible for failing to reach both goals, domestic unity and international freedom. No matter how national and social these two forces present themselves, they are the sworn enemies of a socialist national state. We must therefore break both groups politically. The lines of German socialism are sharp, and our path is clear. We are against the political bourgeoisie, and for genuine nationalism! We are against Marxism, but for true socialism! We are for the first German national state of a socialist nature! We are for the National Socialist German Workers Party!

The Trump administration has taken almost like a whack-a-mole approach to dealing with these issues, because it seems that as soon as a Chinese company is in the news, all of a sudden that becomes the new target, it seems very unlikely that there is thinking going on about the longer term strategy, and much more likely that the focus instead is on this politically motivated attack on an application because it's a Chinese-owned app, even if there are real security questions.

This is why political correctness, or Cultural Marxism,... lends itself so fashionably to easy labels. Transphobic, homophobic, xenophobic, racist, bigoted, Uncle Tom, white privilege, mainsplaining. All of these are slapped on people with politically incorrect opinions in an attempt to silence you. ...
