Because if any of those people had been white, chances are they wouldn't have been murdered. Chances are they wouldn't have been brutalized. And if you don't believe me, just take a look at all the instances of white people, especially white men, who oftentimes are brandishing weapons and who were taken into custody alive. But much of this is wrapped up in implicit bias.

I don't believe these feelings are mutually exclusive, i think you can admire what someone has, but also be jealous of what they have as a result of these implicit comparisons to yourself. So when you see the' real housewife' who drives a Bentley you can simultaneously admire her and resent her.

One could be on the health care side, in other words, what the physicians and nurses do. Are there times when there are differences in care that result from potential cultural practices or maybe even implicit bias ? That's one hypothesis.
