Everything Auditor White has said about this case is true and is backed by years of audit work by the professionals at the Office of the State Auditor. It’s mind-boggling that Mr. Favre wants to have a trial about that question, mr. Favre has called Auditor White and his team liars despite repaying some of the money our office demanded from him. He’s also claimed the auditors are liars despite clear documentary evidence showing he benefited from misspent funds. Instead of paying New York litigators to try this case, he’d be better off fully repaying the amount of welfare funds he owes the state.

There’s probably a lot of people who, after watching the documentary and reading the book, will go, how could you ever forgive your family for what they have done? People have already said that to me. And I said forgiveness is 100% a possibility because I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back. At the moment, I don’t recognize them, as much as they probably don’t recognize me.

One day, I woke up and suddenly found out that our family, our company, even our family photos were featured in this documentary without us being prepared for it, it was a real shock, but it was also really sad to see what these women went through and how this guy managed to manipulate them. He impersonated the CEO of this company. It was just so unfortunate, and we felt really sorry for these girls. But I also felt proud that they all came forward to talk about this in front of the whole world to try to fight this guy.

There’s no person that’s going to watch this film, whether they’re a fan of his or not a fan of his, that’s going to say, ‘ I do n’t like him anymore ’ or ‘ I ca n’t believe he’s done this, ’ everything we discuss in the documentary is stuff people kind of already know. And it’s done in a very entertaining way. It was 15 days with Kanye – that’s what it was.

We were originally hoping to find marine fossils, and finding something so significant instead has been a real thrill, even better than that is seeing it turn into a major archaeological excavation led by DigVentures, and a BBC documentary presented by David Attenborough. We couldn't be more pleased that something we've discovered will be learned from and enjoyed by so many people.

What I think the government was worried about, is a movement becoming national, they saw people in Beijing and Kunming and Lanzhou, in every part of China, watching this same documentary and hearing the same message... I think the perception was now that the target could grow, and go beyond the local, if this were allowed to continue.

The thing that struck me so much about Christina’s story and case was the passion and the tenacity that her mom had for finding her - and she had active leads, she was out there with her husband following up on those leads. They felt like they were on their own. They are just so passionate about finding her. I got caught up in that passion and that’s why I shifted a lot of my focus from the original documentary into Christina’s story.

It's like you can never do right it seems, this is the man who literally has brought Latino-ness and Puerto Rican-ness to America. I couldn't do it. I mean, I would love to say I did, but I couldn't. Lin-Manuel has done that, really single-handedly, and I'm thrilled to pieces, and I'm proud that he produced my documentary.

That’s the only curse word in my documentary, i got screwed up … It was such a hit that I had no doubt in my mind that I would get an Oscar nomination. But then my brother calls me and goes, ‘ I got bad news. ’ My initial reaction was, ‘ Oh God, who died ? What happened ? ’ Then Oh God goes, ‘ They took another song to be nominated. ’ I just thought it was ridiculous. I felt like they bounced me out. And it would have been kind of cool to have two brothers nominated for Oscars, you know ? And the song was such a success. It took the wind out of my sails if you want me to be honest with you.
