I've heard this from so many nurses and teachers and administrators rolling their eyes when relating how they needed to take some bulls --- course in order to advance in the field when really they've already learned what they need by working the job, but in the grift that is our higher education, when you want to move up, ‘ Hold on there ! Not so fast ! Tollbooth ahead ! You need to pay for more ’ education' before you we decide you could do what you do.' F ---, this is what Scientology does, makes you keep taking courses to move up to ‘ The Bridge of Total Freedom. ’.

I will forever be grateful to Scientology for supporting me for two years solid, I mean Monday through Sunday, they didn't take a day off, working through different angles of the techniques to get through grief and loss, and to make me feel that finally I could get through a day.

John loves aviation more than Hollywood but because of Kelly he’d never leave Scientology, he loves his family. He’s just got a dark side and he’s reckless. But he really has no reason to want to leave the church. People at his level never see the ugly side of the church. Plus he’s got OSA [Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs] as his own private Mafia if he gets into trouble.

Now, I feel like there’s nothing I can’t tackle, scientology gave me tools to survive, tools to create, and that’s what I feel like -- a creative person who is full of power and there is no stopping me.

In my experience, doing media does get the cult’s attention on the specific members, and I would predict Scientology leadership will not wish members to watch segments produced about them, but sometimes this backfires, and can move some people further out of the group, especially if they are on the fence. Unfortunately, with Scientology, [leadership] could further restrict access to the outside world.

The public should know that Scientology has routinely declared people SP (a suppressive person) and then encouraged Scientologists, including family members, to disconnect from SPs or risk being labeled a PTS (Potential Trouble Source). This policy has hurt many families, exposing the pain is a public service. A victim suffering in silence is not a solution.

I've been so happy with my (Scientology) experience in the last 40 years that I really don't have anything to say that would shed light on (a documentary) so decidedly negative.

I've been brought through storms that were insurmountable, and [Scientology has] been so beautiful for me, that I can't even imagine attacking it, so, why would I even approach a negative perspective? That would be a crime to me, personally, to do that.
