I think anything that takes you away from day-to-day concerns is helpful for lowering stress levels, the key is to focus on what you are doing to block out the rest of what is going on. I play classical piano, and I love to bake with my kids... and( when I engage in these activities), I forget about the pandemic and work stressors.

At 3, he led me to the dark, dirty basement of my grandmother's house and put me on the washing machine and pleasured himself while molesting me, at 8, he bought me a piano and insisted on taking me to piano lessons, all so he could park and take whatever sick pleasures that he so desired.
