  1. Zodiacknoun

    The track of the sun through the twelve signs; a great circle of the sphere, containing the twelve signs.

    Etymology: zodiaque, French; ζωδιαϰς ἐϰ τῶν ζώων, the living creatures, the figures of which are painted on it in globes.
