Tradeshift
Tradeshift is a web based business network and also a free invoicing platform founded by Christian Lanng, Mikkel Hippe Brun and Gert Sylvest. The network was launched in May 2010, and used in more than 150 countries by February 2011. The project has gained media attention in online magazines, including Wired and Financial Times. Tradeshift's competitors include Ariba, OB10, Coupa and Maventa.com. In March 2012, the company released an invoice processing product called CloudScan, which aims to make sure buyers don't need to do any invoice handling work. The technology-stream, that Tradeshift is following here, is known as Cloud-Invoicing and guarantees a barrier-free exchange of structured documents.
