Start!
Start! is the eleventh UK single release by the band The Jam and their second number-one, following "Going Underground"/"Dreams of Children". Upon its release on 15 August 1980, it debuted at number three, and two weeks later reached number one for one week. Written by Paul Weller and produced by Vic Coppersmith-Heaven and The Jam, "Start!" was the lead single from the band's fifth album Sound Affects. The single's B-side is "Liza Radley". "Start!" is based on both the main guitar riff and bass riff of the Beatles' 1966 song "Taxman" from the album Revolver, written by George Harrison. "Liza Radley" also utilises the "Taxman" bassline as does "Dreams of Children", B-side to "Going Underground", played then as a lead guitar riff. The album version of the song runs at 2:30 and features trumpets in the final section.

What's happening up in The Bay Area indicates that maybe we're at the tippy top of this price increases, barring any other issues, so we're hoping by the end of the year that things will start heading downward.
Data collection concerning end-Cretaceous dinosaurs happened to start at about the same time in both Europe and North America – around the middle of the 19th century, it is only by chance (a combination between mainly better rock availability and more human effort poured into this line of research) that the North American fossil record grew more rapidly and soon become the best one in the world for that particular time period. As such, it captured attention and was used as a template to understand end-Cretaceous extinction. The data was harder to gather in other continents, including Europe, and the resolution of the European fossil record is still far from that coming from North America. But its growth is spectacular (we know probably twice as much about late Cretaceous fossil vertebrates from Europe then we knew like 20 years ago), and that is due to the activity of a large number of mainly young researchers working all across Europe.
