round off
A roundoff error, also called rounding error, is the difference between the result produced by a given algorithm using exact arithmetic and the result produced by the same algorithm using finite-precision, rounded arithmetic. Rounding errors are due to inexactness in the representation of real numbers and the arithmetic operations done with them. This is a form of quantization error. When using approximation equations or algorithms, especially when using finitely many digits to represent real numbers (which in theory have infinitely many digits), one of the goals of numerical analysis is to estimate computation errors. Computation errors, also called numerical errors, include both truncation errors and roundoff errors. When a sequence of calculations with an input involving any roundoff error are made, errors may accumulate, sometimes dominating the calculation. In ill-conditioned problems, significant error may accumulate. In short, there are two major facets of roundoff errors involved in numerical calculations: The ability of computers to represent both magnitude and precision of numbers is inherently limited. Certain numerical manipulations are highly sensitive to roundoff errors. This can result from both mathematical considerations as well as from the way in which computers perform arithmetic operations.

round off
Round off is a mathematical operation or process that involves reducing the number of digits in a number while attempting to keep its value similar to the original. This is often done to make calculations easier or to fit a number within a specific degree of accuracy or space. Practical uses of rounding off includes simplifying numerical data for easier interpretation or reducing precision for a number that doesn't necessarily need an exact value, such as in measurements or statistics.

I started the round off kind of slow, the greens were a lot slower today, i'm sure they just watered them in the morning, but I got used to them on the back nine and finished strong. But I'm sure with this sun and a little bit of breeze today, they'll bake out in the afternoon.
Inti Illimani Historico member:
Truly we live from the point of view of our work, our life, Inti Illimani Historico - a particularly uplifting moment and what better way to complete or round off that state of exaltation as Horacio Salinas has described. To be here in Cuba doing a job, only thinking about music, only recording and into it without any other life distractions.
