RAKEHELnoun
A wild, worthless, dissolute, debauched, sorry fellow.
Etymology: of this word the etymology is doubtful: as it is now written, it is apparently derived from rake and hell, and may aptly represent a wretch whose life is passed in places of lewdness and wickedness: Stephen Skinner derives it from racaille, French, the rabble; Franciscus Junius, from rekel, Dutch, a mongrel dog.
