1. Power Up

   Power Up is a Korean song recorded by South Korean girl group Red Velvet for their second special Korean extended play, Summer Magic (2018). Characterized as an electropop song with elements of chip-music, the song was penned by Kenzie and was produced by Moonshine, Ellen Berg Tollbom and Swedish singer-songwriter Cazzi Opeia, the same writer and producers of their 2017 single "Peek-a-Boo". It was released on August 6, 2018 as the lead single of Summer Magic and was marketed as their second special summer single after "Red Flavor" in 2017. The single topped all of South Korea's music charts upon its release which allowed the group to achieve a "perfect all-kill" for the first time since their debut in 2014. The song was a commercial success in the group's native country South Korea, topping both the Gaon Digital Chart and the Gaon Download Chart on its first week and stayed atop both charts for two weeks. It also peaked at number 6 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart. The song's music video was included in Billboard's 50 Best Music Videos of 2018: Critics' Picks list, with Red Velvet being the only South Korean artist to make the list.

1. POWER UP

   POWER UP is an American non-profit organization and film production company with the stated mission "to promote the visibility and integration of gay women in entertainment, the arts, and all forms of media". It was founded in 2000 by K. Pearson Brown. Stacy Codikow and Amy Shomer. Its members include women and men, gay and straight. POWER UP provides funding and assistance to filmmakers, as well as producing its own films. After several short films, its first feature film was the comedy Itty Bitty Titty Committee directed by Jamie Babbit. In 2004, POWER UP was awarded the Leadership Award by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. In 2001 K Pearson Brown, one of the founding members, brought a sexual harassment suit against another founding member, Stacey Codikow. Codikow counter-sued alleging that Brown had made sexual overtures towards her and accusing Brown of defamation. Codikow also demanded Brown's resignation on the grounds that she was bisexual, and Brown later resigned. Both suits were dropped in late 2002.
