The East Side (E/S) Poccet Hood Compton Crips, also known as the "Corner Poccet Hood Compton Crips" or the "Original Poccet Hood Compton Crips", are a long standing African-American street gang founded in the north eastern section of Compton, California during the 1970s when Crip sets first began to appear in Compton. Their Territory stretches from East N Wilmington Avenue to Willowbrook Avenue, between 130th Street and Stockwell Avenue. The Poccet Hood Crips are cliqued up with both the Anzac Grape Compton Crips and the Santana Blocc Compton Crips due to their shared hatred for the same rivals such as the Holmes Street Watts Crips, Carver Park Compton Crips, Original Front Hood Compton Crips, the Ward Lane Compton Crips, Park Village Compton Crips, Acacia Blocc Compton Crips, Farm Dog Compton Crips and the Spook Town Compton Crips. The Poccet Hood Compton Crips and South Side Compton Crips became bitter rivals when Olando 'Baby Lane' Anderson, a member of the South Side Compton Crips and Jerry 'J-Dog' Stone, a member of the Poccet Hood Compton Crips, got into a confrontation at a car wash in Compton which led to a shootout and both members were shot and killed. Additionally, the Poccet Hood Compton Crips once had a close relationship with the Original Front Hood Compton Crips but had a fallout when a member of the Poccet Hood Compton Crips killed a OG member of the Original Front Hood Compton Crips. In addition to their Crip rivalries, the Poccet Hood Crips are hostile towards both Blood and Pirus sets; in particular the Bounty Hunters Watts, Athens Park Bloods, Tree Top Pirus, Village Town Piru, Fruit Town Pirus, Mob Piru and the West Side Piru. Like many other African American street gangs, the Poccet Hood Crips feud with a number of Mexican gangs such as the Compton Varrio 155, Compton Varrio 70's and the Compton Varrio Largo 36.
