    Pignone (Ligurian: Pignon; locally Pignun) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of La Spezia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 654 and an area of 16.2 square kilometres (6.3 sq mi).The municipality of Pignone contains the frazione (subdivision) Casale. Pignone borders the following municipalities: Beverino, Borghetto di Vara, Levanto, Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza.
