Pattan is a town and a municipal committee in Baramulla district, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Pattan is centrally located and has highest literacy rate than that of state. Modern English Academy Pattan is also located at PATTAN. It's One of the reputed institute in Pattan Town. Pattan is surrounded by Breng Block towards North, Kunzer Block towards South, Narbal Block towards East, Singhpora Block towards west . Sopore, Baramula, Srinagar, Bandipore are the nearby Cities to Pattan. This Place is in the border of the Baramulla District and Badgam District. Badgam District Beerwah is South towards this place . Also it is in the Border of other district Ganderbal . Pattan Rail Way Station, Mazhom Rail Way Station are the very nearby railway stations to Pattan. How ever Jammu Tawi Rail Way Station is major railway station 184 KM near to Pattan.
