    Parede (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈvilɐ dɐ pɐˈɾedɨ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Cascais, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Carcavelos e Parede. In 2001 its resident population was approximately 17,830 inhabitants, covering an area of 3.6 km², west of Lisbon on the coast near the mouth of the Tagus estuary. Parede is a community between the larger towns of Oeiras and Cascais, in the district of Lisbon, along the Linha do Estoril railline that follows the coast from Lisbon to Estoril and Cascais.
