Well, my goodness ... it does sound as if the town is being a little unreasonable, doesn't it?

  2. Dina Shiner:

Free Palestine’s a really scary time to be outwardly Jewish, this is Skokie. It’s a heavily Jewish town. What’s bothering me is that everyone is saying, ‘ Oh, this is just about Israeli and Free Palestine, it’s not about New York Jews.' No, they’re targeting synagogues. That’s a direct target on New York Jews. This has nothing to do with Israel.

  3. Stonewall Jackson:

We were such a loser town and you can't really say nothing to someone who supports a different sports team, this is the greatest city on Earth, though, and I'm just glad we have something to root for again.

  4. Cory Booker:

Access to safe, affordable housing can be transformative in the trajectory of people's lives, my parents knew this when they moved my brother and me to a New Jersey town with good public schools in the face of racial discrimination. The tenants I represented against slumlords when I first moved to Newark knew it too. So did my neighbors in Brick Towers.

  5. Wendy Fisher:

We're very appreciative of outsiders coming to town and we embrace everyone.
