In addition, it provides technical support, design review, project planning, installation, audits, server hosting, network monitoring, network operations, interoperability, testing for non-standard devices, protocol training, and diagnostic tools training services. It serves transport network operators, service providers, mobile network operators, and enterprises. NextPoint Networks, Inc. was formerly known as NexTone Communications, Inc. and changed its name to NextPoint Networks, Inc. in July, 2008. The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Gaithersburg, Maryland with offices in Singapore, Singapore; Tokyo, Japan; London, the United Kingdom; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Coral Gables, Florida. As of September 16, 2008, NextPoint Networks, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of GENBAND, Inc.
