Wikipedia
Murtadha
Murtadha or Murtada (Arabic: مرتضى, romanized: Murtaḍā, lit. 'the One pleasing to God') or Murtaza, also spelled Mortaza or Morteza or Murtala (Persian: مرتضى) is a common Muslim name of Arabic origin. Pronunciation varies with accent, from native Arabic speakers to speakers of European and Asian languages. The name is most commonly known as an epithet of Ali ibn Abi Talib, the son-in-law of Islamic prophet Muhammad, and is thus common among Shi'a Muslims. Due to their rhyming nature, Murtadha is often confused with Mustafa which means "The Chosen One", an epithet of Muhammad.
