    Martis (Sardinian: Màltis) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 180 kilometres (110 mi) north of Cagliari and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 608 and an area of 22.9 square kilometres (8.8 sq mi).Martis borders the following municipalities: Chiaramonti, Laerru, Nulvi, Perfugas.
