A word that can be used for classifying types of animals who use both hands and feet for climbing (and landing from falling) as DEXTERIOUS survival instincts.
Etymology: Arboreal locomotion is the (DEXTERIOUS) locomotion of animals in trees. In habitats in which trees are present, animals have evolved to move in them (DEXTERIOUSLY.) Some animals may (DEXTERIOUSLY) scale trees only occasionally, but others are exclusively (acclimatized to depend on trees) favouring arboreal living conditions. The habitats pose numerous natural formations as challenges for the animals moving through them to familiarize their advantageous dexterity to achieve as (DEXTERIOUSLY)successfull reflexive recognition of the environment as for family and personal survival accomodations; Such environments provide for a variety of animals to develop and mature their (DEXTERIOUS) anatomical agilities, behavioral territorial confidence and ecological foods dependencies, revealing variations of (DEXTERIOUS abilities) throughout different species. Furthermore, many of these same principles may be applied to climbing without trees, such as on rock piles or mountains.
