    Devours is the stage name of Jeff Cancade, a Canadian electronic musician.Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Cancade launched the project after moving to Vancouver, British Columbia and coming out as gay. He released his debut EP Dignity in 2013, before following up with the full-length album 24th and Main in 2014.He then released the EP Avalon in 2015, and the album Late Bloomers in 2016 on independent label Locksley Tapes.He signed to Artoffact Records in 2018, releasing his third album Iconoclast on that label in 2019. The album was preceded by the advance single "Curmudgeon", and supported with a regional tour of British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.Outside of the project, Cancade has also composed music for television and film.
