The Assyrian-Akkadian equivalent is Ṭāb-Šār-Aššur or Ṭāb-Bēl. The name was borne of a pagan Assyrian priest who converted to Christianity in Arbela during the second century. It is most common among ethnic Maronites and Assyrian-Arameans of the Near East.
